The Airport of Andaman and Nicobar is located at Port Blair and one can take a flight from Kolkata or Chennai Airport. There are daily flights available from these cities to Andaman and Nicobar, the main carriers being, Indian Airlines, Air Deccan and Jet Airways. Kolkata and Chennai are the two major metros of India and are connected to the other parts of the world. Therefore, it is very easy to reach Andaman and Nicobar from any place around the world via these cities.

Another exciting way to reach the Andaman and Nicobar Island is by sailing through the Bay of Bengal. There are passenger ships available from Kolkata, Chennai and Vishakapatnam. The hours required to complete the voyage is 66, 60 and 56 hours respectively.
